Fall 2023 Newsletter

A NOTE FROM OUR OWNER, Matt Wilde

As Fall has officially arrived this week. We say goodbye to Summer and Welcome the Flannel Season in New England. Blowout season is here and so is our Annual BLOWOUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE. Our team of talented men and women are ready to close your sprinkler system properly, ensuring their longevity and preparing them for the cold months ahead.

We are running on a new software platform as we have embraced the change hoping to make for more accurate site information and a better invoicing experience for all.

Thank you in advance for your loyalty and support in taking care of your watering systems and remember each FOOD DRIVE donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. I encourage you to participate wholeheartedly and we will see you soon for service!

If interested, donations can be made either at the time of Winterizations or dropped off at our office location. Technicians are equipped with reusable bags for your convenience, or are happy to collect bags left by the controller/on the front step by homeowners not able to be onsite.

John Fancy

John joined the Wilde Companies all the way back in 1994! He holds the title for our longest standing employee. John heads our Campus Division and has yet to find a root or mainline that is too big for him to defeat! In his spare time, John enjoys racing dirt bikes and cooking, and especially enjoys indulging in Thai Food on the weekends. A few years back, John stumbled upon a small stray pup on Lincoln St in Worcester, named her Lincoln because of it, and has had a ride-along partner ever since! She can be found in his passenger seat no matter the season, and is decked out in a fashionable pink vest once the weather starts to drop.

Jon Reid

Starting on our install team, quickly moving to a reliable service technician, and finally making his way to managing our Central Mass Division as a member of the office staff, Jon Reid is nothing short of flexible! He quickly discovered his passion for Irrigation since joining the Wilde Companies in 2020 and has certainly made his mark at our company in a very short amount of time. Whether he is troubleshooting over the phone or going onsite to get his hands dirty, he loves leaving clients/sites better than he found them! Outside of the office, he is a self proclaimed “Pizza Connoisseur”, has mastered the art of the “3-pt Cornhole Shot” thanks to his basketball days, and is always ready for a quick-witted pun.
